A great and lively end-of-the-year in Coimbra
Following the success of last year, Coimbra City Council is once again promoting an end-of-the-year party staged through various parts of downtown. This year the main performer will be the Portuguese GNR group that will liven up the crowd with some of their biggest hits at “Portagem” for an hour and a half. There will also be fireworks at various points of the Mondego River. But the party doesn’t stop here. The animation in the “Praca do Comercio” will be in charge of the Banditz Club, the best national DJ pair, that promises the best dance music, including “a strong multimedia and video show”. In “Praca 8 de Maio” we will have the invevitable night revival. The “Terreiro da Erva” this year and after breeding works will also not be forgotten. The most popular music will be performed for those who like more traditional sounds. All concerts will be free. Coimbra promises another great and lively end-of-the-year party.
