New in town – restaurant where you will learn about the art of making Coimbra pottery
In the “Terreiro da Erva”, a recently renovated square, you will find the most recent star addition to Coimbra´s restaurant scene, the “Refeitro da Baixa“.
The space invites you to taste wonderful dishes of traditional Portuguese cuisine accompanied by some of our best wines. Here is just a taste of some of the dishes that await you: “Lombo de Bacalhau em Crosta de Broa e Alheira”, “Mini Polvo ao Alho com Batata Doce”, “Iscas de Leitão com Migas da Lousã” and “Vazia de Novilho com Risotto de Cogumelos”.
The menu also offers some variety of vegetarian dishes. But there is an even more enticing highlight of this new space… “Refeitro” also invites you to discover the art of making Coimbra pottery. The restaurant is located inside a working pottery factory and showcases its work right on the restaurant tables.
The windows between the restaurant and the factory will allow you to witness the actual production and the beauty of this art.
You are welcome to visit: from 12:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
