This month is the twentieth edition of this festival.
The “Santos da Casa”, a radio show exclusively about Portuguese made music that goes on the air every day, between 7pm and 8pm at 107.9 orwww.ruc.fm, Radio University of Coimbra (RUC), has been on for 26 years already. The show’s success created a music festival every April, in 2018 the 20th edition of the “Santos da Casa” Festival is celebrated. This is a festival that intends to show, on stage, new bands and artists that are showcased on the “Santos da Casa” program and blog. This is an initiative that offers the artists the opportunity to show their talent live in Coimbra and, of course, offers locals and visitors the opportunity to watch live music shows in several cool spaces around town (bars, shops, theatres, etc). The 20th edition of the festival starts April 8th with the band “Dory & The Big Fish”, Blues Rock, in FNAC, at 17:00. If you miss the festival, the show still airs every day.
